(NewsNation) — Singer Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie Xo, is going to jail and plans to vlog her experience.

Bunnie Xo, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, shared she “got in trouble with the law” on her “Dumb Blonde” podcast.

“You guys, I’m going to jail. Should we talk about it?” she said. “Why would I not tell the internet this? I tell the internet everything anyways.”

“What happened was, I got a ticket in 2020 in Alabama, driving home from a family vacation. Do I remember getting this ticket? Absolutely not. I got pulled over,” she explained.

The podcaster said she paid the ticket and thought everything was settled until she was pulled over again and told her license was suspended. She was informed that driving without a license could lead to her arrest.

Authorities told DeFord she needed to turn herself in to jail, she said.

“He’s like, ‘But sometime this week you need to go down to the jail and book yourself in,’” she told her listeners. “First of all, I didn’t know that was an option. Growing up as a criminal, if you give me that option, I’m never checking myself in.”

She continued, “I got my lawyer on it, whatever… It looks like your girl is gonna have to go book herself in. If I do — you guys have seen all my past mug shots — I’m going in glammed the f— up, baby, and I’m going to vlog it.”

DeFord has been open about her criminal history, sharing multiple mugshots on Instagram.

“Looking at the first one, I just couldn’t believe what a baby I was. I was 19, already living on the streets of Vegas for 5 years, couch to couch, or with whatever boyfriend would let me stay. By then I’d already lost three babies,” she wrote on social media.

She wrote, “As the pics go on the eyes only get more sad, more broken & more intoxicated. The fact that I’m smiling in some of these will let you kno just how disconnected I was from myself & my emotions.”

DeFord’s book, “Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic,” is set to be released in February.
