(NewsNation) — American media personalities, social influencers and entrepreneurs Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian are opening up about their Christian faith and what their spiritual life entails.

“I feel like people are always surprised. Like what?! You witches believe in God?” Kourtney said on her sister Khloé’s popular podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land. “I have a daily devotional that I read.”

“I have been trying to ask some of our friends who live near us to do a Bible study, which I think would be amazing for the adults,” Kourtney went on.

“I would love it. I told you that I wanted to do it with you,” responded Khloé, who has nearly over 300 million followers on social media.

Kris Jenner describes herself as a ‘lover of Christ’

The Kardashians, famous for their reality TV show “Keeping up with the Kardashians,” have been open about their Christian faith. Matriarch Kris Jenner describes herself as a “lover of Christ,” while the Kardashian-Jenner siblings have been linked to the evangelical megachurch Hillsong in Los Angeles.

But the famous sisters got criticism on social media after their recent comments.

“Reading the Bible is one thing. Living it is another,” said one person on Instagram.

“Maybe the reason people are so surprised is because the fruit of their lives doesn’t match what they are saying,” said another.

Kourtney says ‘I will pray for you’ to people doubting her faith

Kourtney defended her faith.

“It’s very odd how many questions or side eyes are coming from people who claim they believe in Jesus Christ,” Kourtney wrote on Instagram. “It’s sad to observe but NO ONE will throw me off of my journey. In fact, I will pray for you.”

“We have always been open about our love for Jesus Christ,” said the mother and wife of Travis Barker, the drummer of Blink-182. “I have been His child for all my life. Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. Always has been. I wouldn’t have survived if I didn’t have Him to rely on. My relationship with the Lord is not up for debate.”
