(NewsNation) — Actress Tara Reid alleged her drink was spiked at a hotel bar in Chicago, resulting in her hospitalization.
Reid spoke to TMZ on Monday, explaining the video that was captured by onlookers showing a very dazed and confused Reid being assisted by people who placed her in a wheelchair and then being carted off on a stretcher by paramedics.
The “Sharknado” star said she checked into her room Sunday and went downstairs to smoke a cigarette and get a drink at the bar.
Reid said she ordered her drink, went outside to smoke a cigarette, then went back into the hotel, running into a bunch of YouTubers.

“I went back to the bar, and my drink was covered up with a napkin,” Reid saying she thought it was weird because she didn’t place a napkin over her drink.
Reid said she drank her drink, and before she finished it, she passed out and woke up at the hospital eight hours later.
Reid said medical staff told her she was drugged. She said she didn’t ask staff which drug she was spiked with because everything was very “vague.”
An onlooker told TMZ that before paramedics arrived, Reid screamed, “You don’t know who I am. I am famous. I’m an actress.”
The actress was in the Windy City for the Chicago Sports Spectacular.
