(NewsNation) — Shannen Doherty’s ex-husband is contesting their divorce settlement 18 months after her death.
In a legal petition filed in November, Doherty’s estate alleges that Kurt Iswarienko didn’t fulfill certain “monetary obligations” detailed in the settlement, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The “Beverly Hills, 90210” actress signed the settlement on July 12, 2024, and it was finalized a day later.
She died on July 13, 2024, after a years-long battle with breast cancer.

Iswarienko claims that the settlement was filed in the wrong court, challenging the court’s jurisdiction to enforce the agreement.
According to the estate’s attorneys and trustee, Iswarienko still owes money under the settlement and failed to sell a Texas property, return her belongings, or hand over a batch of photographs.
Shannen Doherty alleges infidelity
The “Charmed” actress and Iswarienko were married for more than 11 years.
On her podcast “Let’s Be Clear with Shannen Doherty,” she decided to end the marriage in December 2023, claiming she found out right before she went into surgery to remove a brain tumor “that my husband had been carrying on an affair for two years.”
