(NewsNation) — There doesn’t seem to be any love lost between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck.

Affleck walked the red carpet at the New York City premiere of Lopez’s new movie “Kiss of the Spider Woman” on Monday.

The “Gone Girl” actor served as an executive producer on the film, alongside Lopez.

Matt Damon and Affleck’s production company, Artist Equity, co-produced the movie, according to People Magazine.

Jennifer Lopez thanks Ben Affleck

Lopez and Affleck could be seen posing and speaking together at the premiere, as well as publicly singing each other’s praises.

“Thank you so much, thank you everybody for being here tonight,” Lopez said ahead of the screening. “Thank you, Ben, this movie wouldn’t have been made without Ben and without Artist Equity.”

She added, “I read the script, if you know, I was in bed and I was just floored. I was just like, could this be happening right now? I get to sing, I get to dance, I get to act. I get to be an old-time Hollywood movie star.”

The “Argo” director also celebrated his ex-wife in the new movie.

“She’s amazing in the movie. I just can’t wait for you, the audience, to see the movie,” he told Extra. “I’m as proud of this movie as any that I’ve ever been involved with. I’m really excited to be here tonight.”

Jennifer Lopez deflects divorce comment

The “Jenny from the Block” singer dropped by “Today” on Monday morning during her promotional tour for the movie musical “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” when Craig Melvin asked her about her ex’s role in the film.

“In the middle of filming this elaborate, beautiful musical, your divorce was also finalized with Ben,” Melvin asked Lopez, who cut him off, saying, “There you go! Look at this guy!”

“If it wasn’t for Ben, the movie wouldn’t have gotten made,” a laughing Lopez said. “And I will always give him that credit.”

As for her attitude toward the divorce, she added, “And yeah, things happen, you have to keep going.”
