(NewsNation) — Blake Lively boasted to Justin Baldoni while filming “It Ends With Us” that she had two “dragons” looking out for her and guiding her — her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and BFF Taylor Swift.
But what a difference a year and some nasty lawsuits make as Lively has yet to be seen with her dragons, and, I hear, one of these dragons is not only avoiding her but annoyed Lively got her involved in the lawsuits against Baldoni in the first place.
Taylor Swift and Blake Lively’s friendship
This time last year, Blake Lively was a regular in the NFL postseason games, rooting on Swift boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs and eventually at the Super Bowl.
This year, Swift celebrated with her and Kelce’s family, Caitlyn Clark, other WAGs from the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, with no sign of Lively.
”Taylor is annoyed she was brought into this,” a source said. “She was supporting her friend — and went to her house to hang out, and now that (hangout) is part of (Baldoni’s) lawsuit. It’s a lot.”
Swift’s name was mentioned several times in the Lively v. Baldoni lawsuits.
Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s legal battle
In December, Lively filed a complaint with the California Civil Rights Department against Baldoni, alleging sexual harassment and a coordinated “plan” seeking to “destroy” her reputation.
Baldoni then sued Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds and her publicist Leslie Sloane for $400 million, denying the allegations and claiming the trio sought to “destroy” him.
And Swift was mentioned twice — first when Lively sent to Baldoni where she inferred she was Khaleesi from “Game of Thrones,” writing: “If you ever get around to watching Game of Thrones, you’ll appreciate that I’m Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have a few dragons. For better or worse, but usually better. Because my dragons also protect those I fight for. So really we all benefit from those gorgeous monsters of mine. Then Swift was actually named by Baldoni in his suit when he claimed he went for a meeting at her NYC apartment to discuss a scene she had rewritten on her own accord and was “ambushed” by Reynolds and Swift, who both claimed Lively’s scene was better than the original.
Taylor Swift and Blake Lively have not been seen together since lawsuits
Since the lawsuits, Lively and Swift have not been photographed together.
In fact, the last time Swift and Lively were photographed together in public was last August at Swift’s summer retreat in Rhode Island. In November, before all the legal filings, Lively and Reynolds announced Swift was a “godparent” to their daughters.
But since then, it’s been crickets, despite sources claiming to multiple other outlets they’re still “close.”
Meanwhile, Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, is looking worse for wear — and showed up to Hugh Jackman’s Radio City Hall performance last week looking “haggard” and stressed according to pics from after the event.
Even worse, my insider says, “It was Ryan’s idea — he pushed this — to file against (Baldoni) publicly.”
Lively didn’t show up to Jackman’s event as she didn’t want the focus taken off Jackman.

But husband and wife are laying low right now, and sources add, “They are stressed. There’s a lot of tension.”
Reps for Lively, Reynolds and Swift didn’t return emails and texts. The trial between the trio is set for March 2026.
Meanwhile, adding insult to injury: Lively’s brother-in-law has apologized to Baldoni.
On Tuesday, Bart Johnson, who is married to Lively’s sister Robyn Lively, wrote on X how he felt about his since-deleted posts on social media in which he called Baldoni a “fraud” and criticized his appearance.
“Anytime I’ve said anything unkind about someone I’ve regretted it. Fortunately that’s almost never and definitely not when I’m at my best,” he stated.
