(NewsNation) — The teenage girl whose decomposing body was found in D4vd’s Tesla had the same tattoo as the singer.

Celeste Rivas Hernandez, 15, was identified Wednesday as the victim whose remains were discovered inside a Tesla at a Hollywood tow yard Sept. 8.

Hernandez was reported missing from Lake Elsinore in 2024, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.

“The police did say she had this tattoo. She had a tattoo on her right index finger that said the letters ‘Shhh…'” TMZ’s Charles Latibeaudiere told “Banfield” on Wednesday.

Photos of D4vd show him with a similar tattoo on his finger. Latibeaudiere said TMZ spoke with Hernandez’s mother about Celeste’s tattoo, which was in red ink.

D4vd was on tour when he was told a body was found in his car. He is cooperating with authorities, his spokesperson said, according to Rolling Stone.

Officers made the discovery while investigating a foul odor coming from the Tesla, which was found abandoned on a public street.

Police have yet to reveal who may have been driving the car before it was left on the street and impounded two weeks ago. The vehicle hadn’t been reported stolen.

The cause of Hernandez’s death has been listed as deferred while the investigation continues.
