(NewsNation) — Lil Nas X pleaded not guilty on Monday after being charged with four felonies for allegedly injuring police officers last week in Los Angeles’ Studio City neighborhood, according to NBC News. 

Lil Nas X, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, charged Los Angeles Police Department officers when they approached him early on Thursday after he was found naked roaming the streets, according to authorities.  

Prosecutors charged Lil Nas X with three counts of battery with injury on a police officer and one felony count of resisting an executive officer, the District Attorney’s Office said, according to the Associated Press. He will be arraigned on Monday. 

A Los Angeles judge set the Grammy winner’s bail at $75,000 and he must attend Narcotics Anonymous meetings, according to Reuters. Police allege that Lil Nas X was under the influence of drugs at the time of his arrest.

Lil Nas X’s attorney, Christy O’Connor, said that he was not taking any illegal substances and said the incident was “an aberration in his life,” Reuters reports.

When officers arrived, they said the “Old Town Road” performer charged at them and was taken into custody. 

Police said the rapper was transported to a nearby hospital for a possible overdose and placed under arrest for battery on a police officer. 

TMZ reported and posted video of the “Industry Baby” rapper in his underwear before ripping them off, while walking and rapping on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City.
