IRS cuts: The IRS is drafting plans to slash its workforce by as much as half through layoffs, buyouts and attrition, two sources familiar with the situation told the Associated Press. Gene Hackman death: The New Mexico Gas Company did not find carbon monoxide or gas leaks in the residence of late Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman, 95, and his 63-year-old wife, Betsy Arakawa, the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday. Hackman, Arakawa and one of his dogs were all found dead inside their home in Santa Fe, New Mexico, late last month. Grocery prices: The number of states imposing sales tax on groceries has decreased over the years, and the number could get even lower in the coming months. On Tuesday, Arkansas Gov.
