‘Hush money’ ruling: A New York judge is set to decide Tuesday whether to toss President-elect Donald Trump’s conviction in his hush money case over a U.S. Supreme Court ruling on presidential immunity. A jury convicted Trump in May of falsifying business records related to a $130,000 payment to porn actor Stormy Daniels in 2016. A few weeks after the verdict was reached, the Supreme Court ruled former presidents can’t be prosecuted for actions they took while running the country. Gaza aid: Israel failed to meet U.S. demands to allow for more humanitarian access to the Gaza Strip, international aid organizations shared Tuesday morning. Last month, the Biden administration called on Israel to “surge” more food and aid into Gaza, giving Israel a 30-day deadline that expires Tuesday. Delphi murder trial: Delphi man Richard Allen was found guilty on four counts of murder of killing Indiana teens Libby German and Abby Williams. The jury concluded Allen, 52, killed German, 14, and Williams, 13, in February 2017 after luring them to their deaths while they were on a hike not far from their home. Mischa Johnson case: Murder charges have been filed against the husband of missing pregnant woman Mischa Johnson, according to the U.S. Army. Pfc. Dewayne Arthur Johnson II has been charged with his wife’s murder, intentionally killing her preborn child, obstruction of justice and possession of child pornography. Locked up: Stores have locked up everything from pricey electronics to socks and underwear, but Walmart customers could soon be able to open security locks from their phones. The American retail giant is reportedly testing a new technology that allows employees to unlock cases without manually using keys.
