SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The “Mayor of Flavortown” is bringing what is billed as the “world’s largest tailgate” to the Bay Area on Super Bowl Sunday.
The event, “Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Tailgate,” will take place Sunday, Feb. 8 at the Cow Palace in Daly City, about 40 miles north of Levi’s Stadium, where Super Bowl LX will be played.
The tailgate will feature musical live performances from Loud Luxury and Tucker Wetmore, as well as “gameday culinary creations” from Fieri himself. General admission to the tailgate is free.
The event, which is now in its fourth year, will run from 11:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
“Coming into year four, there is no other Big Game Weekend event like the Flavortown Tailgate,” said Fieri. “As per usual, we’re throwing the biggest tailgate of the year and the best part, it’s free!”
Fieri, who is a Northern California native, is partnering with technology sponsor SpotOn in presenting the event. The event will feature more than 10 pop-up restaurants.
Tickets for the tailgate range from general admission, which is free, to “Guy’s Platinum VIP” tickets, which are priced at $999.99.
