SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Shreveport Police Department is actively searching for a man who they say threatened his entire household.
Billy Ray Russell is wanted in connection with a disturbing domestic incident that occurred on April 21, 2025
Based on statements from three children at the scene, around 1 p.m., an argument between Russell and the victim began in the garage and quickly escalated.
During the confrontation, Russell allegedly grabbed a gun and pointed it at the victim, and began to make threats.
He is reported to have said that if anyone called the police, he would kill everyone in the house. Russell then fled the scene with the gun still in his possession.
Warrants have been issued for Billy Ray Russell on the following charges:
- Domestic Abuse Battery, Child Endangerment Law
- Domestic Abuse Aggravated Assault
