Alabama man accused of killing dog in oven has bond set

ATMORE, Ala. (WKRG) — Bond has been set for an Atmore man accused of killing a dog by placing it in an oven.

According to court documents, James Allen Williamson made his initial court appearance on Wednesday, May 21. He’s accused of aggravated cruelty toward animals.

“Williamson placed a dog in an oven, resulting in the death of the dog,” the Escambia County, Alabama, District Court complaint stated.

Williamson’s bond was set at $15,000, and he is not allowed to have animals in his possession.
