(NewsNation) — An Ohio-based manufacturer is recalling some models of its car seats due to concerns that the seat may shift position.

The Evenflo Company issued a recall of 74,710 of its All4One 4-in-1 convertible car seats, saying in a statement that during testing, they found an issue where the seat may shift from one recline position to another during a crash when it is rear facing.

The affected seats were manufactured between January 2022 and June 2024 and sold in the U.S. and Canada. No injuries have been reported in relation to the recall.

My seat is recalled. What can I do?

Evenflo is expected to send out notification letters to anyone who owns an All4One car seat starting Jan. 26. Through March 4, the company will send a similar replacement car seat to affected customers, as the specific recalled model is now out of production.

The company added in its statement that the car seat is still safe to use until a replacement arrives, but advises anyone sitting next to the car seat to keep their hands away from the seat’s recline mechanism to avoid pinched fingers.
