NEW YORK (PIX11) — Ready-to-eat holiday sausages sold nationwide may have been contaminated with metal, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced.

Around 1,930 pounds of fully cooked “Olympia Provisions uncured holiday kielbasa” could be contaminated, the recall states.

The products were produced on Oct. 14 and have a best if used by date of 2/19/26. The date can be found printed on the side of the label.

Within the USDA mark of inspection, the product should have an establishment number that reads EST. 39928.

The products were sold nationwide online.

The recall was issued after the FSIS received a consumer complaint stating they found metal.

The products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
