NEW YORK (PIX11) — A woman is accused of hurling antisemitic comments like “I’m gonna kill you Jews” before punching a dad who was out with his wife and four young children in Brooklyn on Friday night, authorities said.
Isharae Summers, 35, allegedly yelled “I’m gonna kill your kids and choke your kids” when the Orthodox Jewish man and his family were out walking near Willoughby and Nostrand avenues in Bedford-Stuyvesant at around 11:20 p.m., according to the criminal complaint.
Summers then allegedly screamed, “Your kids are dead tonight” before punching the 26-year-old dad in the head and chest, prosecutors said. The man suffered pain and swelling.
The victim was with his wife and four small kids, ages 6 months, 2, 4, and 6, according to the complaint.
Summers was arrested and charged with multiple counts of assault as a hate crime, attempted assault, aggravated harassment, menacing, and endangering the welfare of a child, authorities said.
The defendant pleaded not guilty and was released without bail at her arraignment on Sunday, according to court records.
Summers’s attorney could not immediately be reached.
