WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Warwick police are investigating after four teenagers allegedly slashed adults during a fight outside a movie theater Tuesday night.

Officers responded to Apple Cinemas at the Warwick Mall around 11:45 p.m. for a reported stabbing.

According to police, the boys, who were between the ages of 14 and 16, got upset after they were told to be quiet during a movie.

The teens allegedly followed three adults to their cars and then slashed two of them with knives, police said. The victims’ injuries are not life-threatening.

Police apprehended the suspects and found the knives that were allegedly used during the assault.

All four teens were turned over to the Rhode Island Training School while they wait to appear in Family Court.
