WATERBURY, Conn. (NewsNation Now) — A 15-year-old girl in Connecticut is selling her artwork to help pay her father’s medical bills.

Angie Soto is hosting a one-day art gallery in town on Saturday to sell her paintings, aptly titled “Angie’s Art Gallery.”

Her father, who is dealing with complications from type-one diabetes, says his daughter has an “angelic heart.”

This isn’t the first time Angie has put her paintbrush to good use helping others. Her mother tells NewsNation affiliate WTNH-TV that in the past, Angie has also used her artwork to help her church, a family who lost their father, and children who needed school supplies.
