Police: 22-year-old man missing from suburban Chicago

SOUTH ELGIN, Ill. (WGN) — Law enforcement authorities are looking for the public’s help in finding a 22-year-old man who went missing in Illinois.

Erik Wojdyla was last seen at SEBA Park in South Elgin on July 28. Three days later, his car was found in the park’s parking lot. Police describe him as being about six feet tall with dark blonde hair and blue eyes.

Though Wojdyla was last seen in South Elgin, his home address lists him as a resident of southwest suburban Plainfield in Will County.

Those who have information that can help law enforcement locate Wojdyla can reach out to the South Elgin Police Department at 847-741-2151, or the Will County Sheriff’s Office at 815-727-8575.
