11-year-old girl among 4 juveniles charged in Chicago train attack

CHICAGO — Four juveniles are facing felony charges in connection with an attack on the CTA Orange Line last week. 

Chicago police arrested two girls – ages 11 and 15- and two boys – ages 14 and 16- Tuesday, July 17, in the 7000 block of S. Cottage Grove.

The juveniles allegedly battered and robbed a 63-year-old man of his debit card on the train near Lasalle and Van Buren on July 8.

Amid their search for suspects, CPD released a flyer with security surveillance photos showing eight of 10 to 12 offenders.
