MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Lauderdale County, Tennessee, man is wanted by the U.S. Marshals for charges related to the discharge of a firearm at law enforcement in 2024.
Bryan Andrew Lebel is wanted for violation of probation for aggravated assault. He is considered armed and dangerous and is not to be approached.
“He was set to report to jail, and he had neglected to do that,” said Lauderdale County Sheriff Brian Kelly. “When we went to apprehend me, he did flee, and we haven’t been able to locate him yet.”
Wednesday, the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office issued a public safety announcement to citizens in Southern Lauderdale County and Henning.
Lebel was last seen about two days ago at his home on Henning-Bethlehem Road. People who live on the road said law enforcement were at the home Tuesday night.

The sheriff said Lebel is a survivalist with an extensive knowledge of the area.
“All indications are that he is still in the area, and he is a survalist, so to speak, an outdoorsman, and he’s basically just kinda in the woods. Living in the woods,” said Kelley.
U.S. Marshals said it was possible Lebel was headed toward Haywood County.
This is the second time in just over a year that Lebel has been considered a fugitive.

In January of 2024, Lauderdale authorities and U.S. Marshals were searching for Lebel following a domestic violence incident in Henning.
According to the sheriff’s office, when deputies responded to the call, Lebel shot at them. A patrol vehicle was hit, but no deputies were injured.
Lebel was taken into custody three days later without incident after his residence was surrounded by law enforcement.

Lebel was charged with attempted murder, but the charge was reduced to aggravated assault..
“I want my citizens to know what we’re doing, and that we are taking every step possible and using every resource that we can to apprehend Mr. Lebel in a safe manner,” Sheriff Kelley said.
