WINCHESTER, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Winchester dispatcher received a bundle of joy after answering an unexpected phone call.

According to a Facebook post, the Winchester Police Department’s 911 dispatch center answered a call from a couple traveling while a woman was in labor. The couple was traveling along the Mountain Parkway to a Clark County hospital when the baby decided it was the right time and place to be born.

Dispatcher Sarah Miller answered the call and helped the dad-to-be, Alan Keefer, through the delivery of his child while on the side of the parkway.

Alan and his wife, Allison, welcomed their 7-pound, 9-ounce bundle of joy, Cillian, thanks to the steady guidance of Miller.
