(NewsNation) — Fall is fast approaching, and for some, that means pumpkin carving and apple picking are right around the corner. For many others across the country, the arrival of the season signifies the annual rollout of highly coveted pumpkin spice products.
Pumpkin spice usually consists of a blend of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice and cloves.
Since 2003, Starbucks has delighted customers with its signature Pumpkin Spice Latte, or PSL as it’s affectionately known, which just made its heavily anticipated return Aug. 26.
Due to the popularity of the PSL and other pumpkin spice products over the years, companies are eager to capitalize on this annual trend, even incorporating the flavor in products beyond traditional food.
It seems that some companies may have gone overboard with the trend:
DUMPkin spice DUDE Wipes

Chicago-based DUDE Wipes, known for its flushable wet wipes designed for adult bathroom use, has relaunched its “DUMPkin spice” wipes just in time for spooky season.
“Made with 99% water and plant-based ingredients, these wipes deliver a gentle, refreshing clean with cozy fall-inspired notes of clove, nutmeg, and other seasonal scents. Because when nature’s calling and the leaves are falling, DUDE Wipes has you covered,” said a PR rep for the brand.
The company also makes a variety of other scented wipes, including Mint Chill, Herbal Relief and Shea Butter Smooth.
Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Spiced Pumpkin Seeds

For pumpkin spice lovers who crave double the pumpkin, Trader Joe’s sells Pumpkin Spiced Pumpkin Seeds.
The seeds are coated in a mixture of “allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and sugar,” which combine to create a sweet and savory snack, according to delish.
For those who can’t get enough of the pumpkin spice madness, the popular grocery chain also sells a variety of other pumpkin products, including Pumpkin Cheesecake Croissants and Mini Spiced Pumpkin Samosas.
Philadelphia Pumpkin Spice Cream Cheese Spread

For those who enjoy an extra pumpkin spice pick-me-up on their bagels in the morning, the Philadelphia Pumpkin Spice Cream Cheese Spread may be just the thing.
The cream cheese spread, manufactured by KraftHeinz, is made with “fresh milk, real cream, pumpkin and cinnamon,” according to its website.
The spread is available in grocery stores across the country and online.
