Newly elected Senate Majority Leader Sen. John Thune, R-S.D., said he’d like to see Donald Trump’s Cabinet members go through standard confirmation hearings, but is still open to recess appointments. Earlier this week, the president-elect requested that the Senate suspend its power to confirm nominations so that he can use “recess appointments” to install some administration officials. Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., joins “The Hill” to discuss.
