Hawaii governor in support of states taking over education, but not mass layoffs

President Trump wants state governments to be in charge of education and massive layoffs have taken place at the Education Department. Josh Green, Hawaii’s Democratic governor, says he doesn’t like to see anyone lose their job, but supports states being able to handle education. “If the dollars flow to us and we get rid of some bureaucracy, I think governors will welcome the resource,” Green says.
