LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — NewsNation local affiliate KLAS-TV’s chief investigative reporter, George Knapp, will testify before a congressional committee Tuesday morning, one of four people scheduled to speak about transparency related to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs), once commonly referred to as UFOs.

Knapp will appear before a task force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets as a witness to voice concerns about UAP information held by federal agencies and not released to the public.

Knapp, a national award-winning journalist, has an extensive background investigating and reporting on UAP, starting back in 1989, when he began exposing government secrecy regarding UFOs.

In 2005, he co-authored the book Hunt for the Skinwalker: Science Confronts the Unexplained at a Remote Ranch in Utah. More recently, he did a documentary series, Investigation Alien, which airs on Netflix.

The hearing is scheduled to start on Tuesday at 10 a.m. (ET).
