(NewsNation) — NewsNation will present a new special entitled Reality Check with Ross Coulthart: Underwater UFOs” on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 8 p.m. ET. Hosted by special correspondent and investigative journalist Ross Coulthart, the one-hour program will take viewers from Sydney, Australia, to the Baltic Sea to the coast of Southern California and analyze a mysterious underwater UFO highway that has led to incomprehensible sightings and stories.

Tens of thousands of unidentified submersible objects (USOs) have been sighted off U.S. shorelines and in major bodies of water in recent years, with nearly 400 sightings reported off the coast of California alone. With 80 percent of the world’s oceans unexplored, researchers have yet to identify the nature of these water-based phenomena. As observations of USOs surge, investigators and lawmakers have been eager for answers, with many calling for greater government transparency.

The documentary will feature exclusive sit-downs with leading voices in the UFO community, including USO researcher and author Richard Dolan, deep sea explorer and Ocean X founder Dennis Asberg, retired Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet, and UFO investigator and special NewsNation correspondent Ben Hansen and Congressman Tim Burchett (R-TN). Burchett, who for years has raised concerns about UAPs, will discuss his planned meeting with President Donald Trump regarding these unexplained aerial phenomena.

In addition, boat captain Thor Laizans will speak publicly for the first time about his harrowing encounter with an unexplained undersea anomaly off the coast of Catalina Island. The special will also showcase remarkable new footage from Enigma Labs, the leading platform for UAP reports.
