Trump cuts tariffs on beef, but farmers warn of long-term loses

(NewsNation) — President Donald Trump has rolled back tariffs on beef and other staple food products. While there’s potential for relief, the benefits aren’t instant even with the new cuts. Nick Levendofsky, executive director of the Kansas Farm Union, tells “NewsNation Live” some farmers will face long-term losses and financial strains, adding low cattle supply and high input costs will keep prices elevated.
