Superintendent Eddie Johnson tells “Morning in America” that while Chicagoans want safety, “they want to be safe in the right way.” He warns that deploying the military to patrol city streets could damage the progress between law enforcement and the community, adding that “just putting armed military out in the streets won’t do the trick.”
