(NewsNation) —  New Hampshire voters will head to the polls Tuesday to cast their ballots in some pivotal races in the 2024 general election.

Presidential race in New Hampshire

Vice President Kamala Harris is projected to win New Hampshire.

Governor race in New Hampshire

Republican Kelly Ayotte is projected to win the governor’s race in New Hampshire.

In addition to casting ballots for the White House between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, New Hampshire voters will vote for the state’s governor as well as for two U.S. House of Representatives seats.

Republican and former U.S. Sen. Kelly Ayotte is facing Democrat Joyce Craig, the former Manchester mayor. The two will vie for the office after the state’s Republican Gov. Chris Sununu announced in 2023 that he would not seek re-election after taking office in 2017.

US House race in New Hampshire

In the race for the two U.S. House seats, Democratic Rep. Christopher Pappas will seek a fourth term against challenger Russell Prescott. Prescott is a former executive councilor who announced his run for Congress in 2023.

Democrat Maggie Goodlander, a deputy assistant attorney general with the U.S. Department of Justice, will face Lily Tang Williams. The Republican is the co-chair of the New Hampshire Asian American Coalition.

The two will vie for a seat left vacant by longtime Democratic Congresswoman Annie Kuster, who announced she would not seek re-election after serving six terms in Washington.

Statewide ballot measure in New Hampshire

New Hampshire voters will also consider a constitutional amendment that will increase the mandatory retirement age for judges in the state from 70 to 75 if approved.

On Tuesday, 468 U.S. congressional seats (33 Senate seats and all 435 House seats) are up for election.

Polls close in Nevada at 7 p.m. local time.

New Hampshire — which carries four electoral votes — is known for its independent leanings but only one Republican presidential candidate has won the state since 1992.  President Joe Biden defeated Trump in the state by 7 percentage points in 2020.
