(NewsNation) — A nuclear bomber fleet base in Missouri shares a fence with a trailer park linked to Chinese intelligence, according to a new report.
Per The Daily Caller, the Knob Noster Trail Park, in Johnson County, is “linked to a convicted fraudster with Chinese Communist Party (CCP) intelligence ties” and shares a fence with Whiteman Air Force base.
The Department of Defense base is home to nuclear bomber fleets, including the B-2 bombers. According to Google Maps, the trailer park is right behind the runway, less than a mile away.
In the event of war, America’s B-2 bombers would be taking off over Chinese-owned land.
Rep. Mark Alford, R-Mo., a member of the House Armed Services Committee, joined NewsNation to discuss the report and what needs to be done.
“We’ve got to get them out of there,” Alford told “On Balance.”
Moving forward, he suggested that any member of a foreign adversarial nation should not be allowed to purchase even an outhouse in the United States.
Alford laid the blame for the reported situation at the feet of the Department of the Treasury’s Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States of America, saying they did not do their job.

As for how to fix it, Alford suggests CFIUS must get “on the ball” for a solution.
“I’m not blaming this on Secretary Bessant whatsoever,” Alford said. “This goes back, I think, to the Biden administration. They did not even put Whiteman Air Force Base on their list of scrutiny.
“I just talked to the former commander of the base, who retired two days before the midnight hammer strike (in June), and he wasn’t aware that this existed.”
Alford believes the Trump administration should go as far back as 10 years to analyze potential land purchases from foreign adversaries or persons with ties to those nations.
