(NewsNation) — Bill O’Reilly recently spoke with President Trump and believes the president has several tariff deals already done that he will roll out in the coming weeks.

“He said to me, in the next few weeks, there are going to be stunning positive achievements that happen for the United States,” O’Reilly told NewsNation’s Leland Vittert.

O’Reilly said in his 35 years of knowing Trump, he’s never been misled.

Iced out? Yes, but not misled, O’Reilly mused.

“He would not have said that if those deals weren’t already done,” O’Reilly said.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is set to meet with Trump on April 17 to talk tariffs, but O’Reilly thinks that deal is already done. He also believes the Japan deal is done.

O’Reilly said Trump believes he’s going to bring the American people a “series of deals” over a “short period of time” that makes the president look like “an economic genius.”

“That’s what Trump believes,” O’Reilly said. “I can’t with any certainty predict what will happen.”

A raft of trade deals would likely come as welcome news to American businesses and financial markets that have been rocked by uncertainty in recent weeks.
