(NewsNation) — The White House denies a report that Elon Musk will visit the Pentagon on Friday for a briefing on a hypothetical war with China.

It raised concerns over Musk’s influence as Trump’s advisor and possible conflicts of interest.

Retired U.S. Army Major Gen. William Enyart told “NewsNation Live” that it’s “a major conflict,” as China has long been a U.S. rival, and combining Musk’s financial interests in China with access to classified documents is “asking for trouble.”
