(NewsNation) — Whether furloughed or working without pay, federal workers are feeling the brunt of the government shutdown. Tierra Carter, a union representative with the American Federation of Government Employees Local 4156, tells “Morning in America” she’s trying to keep her family afloat by expanding her cleaning business. Carter says she has a message for Congress: “The furloughed employees beg of you to please come to an agreement and come to a decision as soon as possible.”
