HAWKINS COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has released a new age progression photo of missing Hawkins County child Summer Wells.

On Wednesday, the TBI posted the new photo, which was created by a forensic artist with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The photo reportedly represents what Summer would look like in the present.

“We continue to pursue any and all leads in the case,” the TBI stated. “Anyone with information regarding the disappearance of Summer Wells is asked to call the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.”

In June 2023, the TBI released its first age-progressed photo of Summer.

Summer has been missing since 2021. She was five years old when she was first reported missing. No arrests were ever made in her disappearance, and despite massive search efforts throughout Hawkins County, no trace of her was found.
