MIDDLEBURY, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) – Community members in Middlebury are searching for a missing college student, and are calling on the public for help.

Authorities are looking for 21-year-old Lia Smith, who was last seen Friday night, October 17 on the Middlebury College campus. Smith was reported missing Sunday, police say.

Officials from the college wrote that they are “We are working closely with the Middlebury Police Department (MPD), which is investigating and collecting information at this time.”

The school has also reports that they have been in-touch with Smith’s family and friends.

Anyone with information about Smith’s whereabouts should submit a tip online or call MPD at 802-388-3191.
