(NewsNation) — A Northwestern University professor has been found a day after she was reported missing.
Police asked for help in finding Nina Kraus, 72, after she left for a walk at around 9 a.m. Monday in the Chicago suburb of Evanston and never returned home.
Kraus is a professor of neurobiology and otolaryngology at Northwestern’s School of Communication, according to Northwestern Now, the university’s news site.
She was found close to her home and was taken to the hospital for treatment, the Evanston Police Department said in an update Tuesday night.
