Missing teen girls who didn’t return home from school sought, police say

HUNTLEY, Ill. (WGN) — Police are seeking help locating two girls reported missing by their parents on Tuesday.

According to Huntley police, 14-year-old Emilia Rechsteiner and 15-year-old Elizabeth Ernst did not return home from school on May 20.

“They have been in communication with friends but will not disclose their location, and they may have left our area,” police stated.

The teens may have also altered their appearance and changed their hair color. Police provided no further description.

Anyone with information on the teen’s whereabouts has been asked to call Huntley police at (847) 515-5311 or 911.
