‘High-risk’ Chicago teen and 2-month-old son missing: Police

CHICAGO — Chicago police have issued an alert for a “high-risk” teenager and her 2-month-old son who are both missing from the city’s North Side.

Mariangel Gomez, 16, and her infant son were last seen at 11 a.m. Tuesday on the 600 block of West Irving Park Road.

Police describe Gomez as being around 5 feet tall, weighing 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a blue jacket, black pants and black gym shoes at the time she went missing.

Police said she is considered “high risk.”

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Area Three Detectives at 312-744-8266 or 911.
