(NewsNation) — Two missing girls were found safe Friday after being abducted from a foster home in Central Florida, according to NewsNation affiliate WFLA citing local authorities.

An Amber Alert was issued Thursday afternoon after the girls went missing late Wednesday night.

According to the sheriff’s office, the two girls went missing from a residence located on Companero Drive in Sorrento, Florida.

The girls were said to be taken by their biological mother, Dixie Stumpner Williams.

Local NBC affiliate WESH reported that law enforcement found the girls in Louisiana. Stumpner Williams was also arrested on charges of kidnapping.
