BRUNSWICK, Ohio (WJW) – Students at Brunswick City Schools in Ohio will no longer have to worry about unpaid meal bills, thanks to an anonymous community member.

In Brunswick, one generous community member is helping students get a good meal. The school district announced Monday on Facebook that lunch debt was paid off across the district, a bill that totaled more than $3,500.

This donation covered the costs at every building, stretching from elementary through high school.

“This act of kindness helped students at every elementary school, the middle school, and high school,” the post said. “Lunch fees can add up quickly for families, and this donation made a real difference for many in our community.”

The district expressed its gratitude to the anonymous community member, thanking them for “this thoughtful support that directly helps our students.”
