ERIE, Pa (WJET/WFXP) — A Warren County breast cancer survivor’s luck has turned around in a big way!

Nicole Walter is the winner of $2 million from the Pennsylvania Lottery.

She was presented with a commemorative check in front of her family, including 10 grandchildren, at the lottery office in Erie on Wednesday.

Walter won playing the online Monopoly-themed game. The 42-year-old recently completed radiation treatment, during which she suffered a heart attack.

She called the lottery win life-changing.

“It could have never come at a better time. It was a great time to come,” she told us. “There was a lot of prayers coming for days before cause things were looking a little bleak there for a while. And now it’s just so stress relieving, really.”

Walter said she has been playing the lottery online since it launched in 2018, but this is her first win.
