(NewsNation) — “Morning in America” anchor Markie Martin has announced she’s expecting her second child.
“My husband and I are expanding our family,” Martin said, surprising Drs. Idries and Jamil Abdur-Rahman with the news Thursday. “We’re having a boy! We’re due in September.”
The twin doctors helped Martin surprise colleagues last year with the news that she was expecting her first child.
Martin’s first child, Parsons, was born in May 2024.
“The two of you were so kind to help us reveal with Parsons, my daughter, the first time around, and so I wanted to flip the script and surprise you guys this time around,” she said.
