COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (WANE) — Imagine having your first date, engagement, and wedding, all at the same place.

Newly married Andy and Amy Goss don’t have to. On Saturday, they lived it during their wedding at Moo-Over, an ice cream shop in Columbia City, Indiana, about 20 miles outside of Fort Wayne.

“We met here about eight or nine months ago… we talked for five hours,” Andy told Nexstar’s WANE. “It all came after a tragedy. I lost my wife in January and she lost her husband to cancer. This was a neat place to meet up.”

Movies, concerts, and more ice cream shared led to a joint realization.

The couple decided that they had big weddings in the past, and a small ceremony in the place where they met would be a special way to commit their lives to one another.

“We’re just anxious, and excited and so blessed,” Andy said.
