(NewsNation) — From delivering body slams in the ring to uplifting people outside the ring, WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page is leaning into his second calling in life.
Page joined “Elizabeth Vargas Reports” to discuss his new docuseries, “Change or Die,” which follows five Americans at crossroads in their lives looking for a healthier existence.
“Change or Die” can be streamed on Tubi and Apple TV and includes former super heavyweight champion Eric “Butterbean” Esch.
“You get to see them, get hope, and their life start to change,” Page told NewsNation.
He tells NewsNation the docuseries lives up to its name, with participants facing the possibility of their lives being cut short unless alterations are made to their habits and lifestyle.
“I believe it’s all about the story you tell yourself. You know, if you say you can or you say you can’t, you’re right. So if you’ve got to say ‘I can’t,’ say ‘I can’t do it yet.’ But [it’s about] the story you tell yourself. So many people have lost hope,” Page said.
“Life’s 10% what happens to you and 90% of how you react to it,” he added.
