Zach Bryan and Gavin Adcock feud at Oklahoma music festival

(NewsNation) — Country music singers Zach Bryan and Gavin Adcock were seen getting into an intense argument at a music festival in Oklahoma over the weekend.

In an Instagram video shared by Adcock, Bryan can be seen yelling “Hey, want to fight like a man?” and seen banging on a chain-link fence toward Adcock and his team on Saturday at the “Born & Raised Festival” in Pryor, Oklahoma.

The “Tore Me Up” singer captioned the video, “When you get death threats from Sack Cryin before you headline in his hometown.”

Bryan can be seen scaling the fence to confront Adcock in another Instagram video.

Gavin Adcock admits to provoking Zach Bryan

Adcock posted another video explaining what led to the confrontation with the “As She’s Walking Away” singer.

He said that Adcock approached him before his set after being at the festival all day with his security guards.

“Before my set, I was standing outside, he pulls up in a pickup truck outside the gate and starts giving out threats, so I just decided to stir him up to the point where he jumped over the fence,” Adcock said.

Adcock claims that Zach Bryan’s actions at the festival were a planned stunt. He says Bryan knew exactly where and when to find him, but chose to jump a fence to look “tough.” Adcock states he didn’t “take the bait” and will be “praying for” Bryan.

The two singers have had issues for a few months, according to NBC News

Adcock called out Bryan in July over how he treated a teenage fan, writing on X.

“If you can’t handle the criticism of a 14-year-old, why do people idolize you?”

Following a concert at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, Bryan had commented on a TikTok video showing a 14-year-old disappointed after he didn’t receive an autograph from Bryan, according to Billboard.

Bryan said the fan wasn’t “entitled” to get a picture or a “hello” after he played a two-and-a-half-hour set.

“That kid was head over heels to meet you and spent/ parents spent a ton of money to see you,” Adcock wrote in his post. “He’s got feeling too and you’re a ‘grown man’ nearly 30. They’re the only reason you are around.”
