(NewsNation) — “Wheel of Fortune’s” Pat Sajak and Vanna White had a sweet reunion in Hawaii.

On Tuesday, White, 68, posted a photo of herself and the former host in Hawaii embracing while they were at a restaurant.

“Had the pleasure of seeing Pat’s awesome performance on stage in Hawaii last weekend! It was great catching up and spending time with him! #foreverfriends,” she wrote on Instagram.

White visited Sajak, 78, in Hawaii to see his play, “Prescription: Murder.” In another photo, she could be seen pointing at the marquee with Sajak’s name on it.

Pat Sajak ends ‘Wheel of Fortune’ chapter

After 41 years as host of the popular “Wheel of Fortune,” Sajak signed off from the game show in June 2024.

Sajak began hosting “Wheel of Fortune” in 1981, while White joined the show a year later. The two became mainstays across homes across the country in the evening, paired with the long-running show “Jeopardy!”

On his final show, Sajak thanked viewers for the “incredible privilege to be invited into millions of homes, night after night, year after year, decade after decade,” he said, according to The Associated Press.

During his goodbye, he thanked White, calling her his “professional other half.”

“We’ve seen a lot of changes in each other’s lives over the years, but we’ve always been there for each other,” he said at the time. “I will miss our nightly closes and her laughter and her good nature. She’s a very special woman.”

Ryan Seacrest takes over as ‘Wheel of Fortune’ host

Following Sajak’s announcement he was leaving the show in June 2023, it was announced that Ryan Seacrest would be taking over as host of “Wheel of Fortune.”

Seacrest began hosting the show in September 2024, but two months prior, a source told the Daily Mail that White was having trouble vibing with Seacrest in the same way she did with Sajak.

She has reportedly considered leaving the show before her contract ends in 2026.
