(NewsNation) — With the start of the new year just days away, new predictions emerge about what’s ahead.

Mentalist Sidney Friedman joined “Morning in America” on Tuesday to share his predictions for 2026, including who he believes will take home Oscar wins. Freidman said he predicts actor Timothee Chalamet will receive a nomination and win his first Academy Award.

Friedman also predicted big things for the Chicago Bears, predicting the team will reach the NFC championship this year and possibly the Super Bowl. If not, he believes the Bears will win the Super Bowl by 2027.

Beyond entertainment and sports, Friedman predicts the typewriter will make a comeback. He said it will reemerge not just as decor, but as an office tool.

“It’s in decor, but also they’ll be an office that goes totally analog,” he said. “It’ll also sort of be a fashion statement or statement as decor in someone’s home, but also people typing little notes to send to people.”
