(NewsNation) — “Fast and Furious” actor Tyrese has rehomed his dogs after an arrest warrant was issued after the dogs were accused of mauling a neighbor’s Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, according to People Magazine.
Gibson’s lawyer, Gabe Banks, told People Magazine in a statement, “Mr. Tyrese Gibson extends his deepest condolences to the family who lost their beloved dog to this tragic incident that occurred while Mr. Gibson was away from his home.”
Banks added, “Upon learning of this unfortunate accident, Mr. Gibson immediately made the difficult decision to rehome his dogs to a safe and loving environment.”
Harrison Parker, who lives across the street from Gibson in their Georgia neighborhood, called emergency services on Sept. 18, saying that his doorbell camera captured footage of the dogs following the attack.

Parker told police that Gibson’s four Cane Corso dogs, were roaming their Buckhead neighborhood before killing Henry, Parker’s 5-year-old King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, 11 Alive reported.
Neighbor found deceased dog in his yard
Gibson’s neighbor alleges he let his dog out to walk in his yard before he found his dog dead from an animal attack.
“I found my dog dead in my driveway,” Parker told WSB-TV 2. “Not hearing him around, it’s just awful. He was one of the sweetest dogs, and to have him get murdered is, it’s indescribable.”
Search warrant issued for Tyrese Gibson
According to Fox 5, police issued a search warrant for the “Fast Five” star on Sept. 22, but he wasn’t home.
“Concerning the misdemeanor warrant, Mr. Gibson is cooperating fully with authorities to address and resolve this matter responsibly,” Banks said.
Gibson reportedly said he would surrender his Cane Corso to animal services, but when authorities showed up to his home last week to execute the search warrant, he wasn’t home, according to court documents obtained by 11 Active.
In an Instagram video posted on Tuesday, Gibson can be seen playing with his dogs, while audio from the radio program “The Breakfast Club” plays over the video.
