(NewsNation) — Travis Kelce opened up about his engagement to music superstar Taylor Swift in the latest episode of his podcast.  

On the Sept. 3 episode of the “New Heights” podcast, Kelce said he appreciated all the support he’s received since the engagement announcement.  

Jason Kelce, Travis’ brother and co-host, brought up the news, saying, “Travis, we gotta talk about it.”

“I don’t think we do,” Kelce responded.

“In case you missed the Instagram post heard ’round the world, Travis and Taylor are engaged! Yay!” Jason Kelce said, according to People magazine.  

“I appreciate everybody that reached out and sent something and all the posts and all the excitement that’s been going on. It’s been really fun telling everybody who I’m going to be spending the rest of my life with,” Kelce said.

Last week, the couple announced their engagement on Instagram in a post captioned: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”  

Photos showed Kelce down on one knee in a garden adorned with pink and white roses. 

Kelce said that last week that he introduced Swift as his fiancée to his teammates.  

“Don’t you get giddy saying it?” Jason asked. 

“Yeah, I do,” Kelce responded. “I still get giddy, exciting times.”
